Youth & Family Ministries

Come and see the evolving Youth and Family Ministry at Unity of Dayton! We see the Christ presence shining in every child, and we see it as our duty to have a program that is worthy of their attention and imagination. We seek out curriculum that recognizes these divine beings for who they are and gives room for each child to absorb the lesson in the way that best suits him or her. We strive to keep our classrooms in a state that promotes a peaceful feeling and an easy energy flow that children respond to. We are always looking for people who feel inclined to teach, and are proud of the teachers and assistants that are teaching now.

Unity of Dayton's Youth and Family Ministry provides support for children of any age. Our nursery is available at both the 9:30 and the 11:00 service and is intended to support children under the age of three. Our pre-school class is available at the 11:00 service and is for children between the ages of 3 and 5. Our elementary class is available at the 11:00 service and is for children in the 1st through the 5th grade. We offer a program for Uniteens, ages 11-13, and for Y.O.U, ages 14-19. We are currently offering a class for all children above the nursery age who do not wish to attend service at the 9:30. Because of the wide range of ages that can attend, this class is a very simple affirmation of Unity's basic principles through a story.
