Prayer

Cindy White
Prayer Ministry Coordinator

As members of Unity of Dayton's Prayer Team, we are both grateful and honored by your prayer requests. You enable us to do what we love best -- which is pray -- by entrusting us with your personal concerns and challenges, your most sacred selves. Our aim is to be of service to you by providing an ongoing base of prayer support.

Prayer requests may be written, verbal or submitted online. To submit in writing, two Prayer Boxes are available. After the names are forwarded to team members, we each pray daily for these people during the following week. Then the names are sent to Silent Unity and our respective lists are placed in our Bibles. Each Sunday we begin the process anew.

To receive one-on-one prayer support on Sunday, at least one prayer chaplain -- and often, more -- await you after each service. Identified by white prayer stoles, they will be standing in the front of the sanctuary.

Remember, you don't need a challenge or a crisis to avail yourself of the Prayer Ministry. Even the most love-filled, prosperous life can be enhanced through the power of prayer.
