Sunday May 20 the message is “Ask Yourself This to Release Your Inner Genius,” with Rev. Cindy White.
Our young people still remember that they, and we, have the power to change our world. When we approach a challenge with the “beginner's mind,” we are open and receptive to the inspired genius of our Divine Mind.
Neither lofty degree of intelligence nor imagination nor both together go to the making of genius. Love, love, love, that is the soul of genius. — Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Our current lesson series is based on Rev. Wendy Craig-Purcell’s book Ask Yourself This and is available in our Book Nook for $14.95 plus tax.
Be sure to plan on attending the Unity Family Picnic, Sunday, June 3, from 12-2 p.m.
Garden Lots Available Now! The Unity CommUnity Garden is plowed and ready for planting. Two different sizes of lots are available: 20x20 lots for $30 or 10x10 lots for $15. We’re also looking for volunteers to help garden the lots not rented for private use. The produce from these common area lots will be sold at a Farmer’s Market, with the proceeds supporting Unity of Dayton programs. Please see Ron Patterson or call 233-7516 for more information.
Share the Wealth! Every day in the Miami Valley men, women, and children go hungry. But you can help—and it’s so easy! Just bring in one can of non-perishable food per person each Sunday, and deposit it in the large barrel in the lobby. Once the barrel is full, we’ll take the donations to the food pantry. Will you help us make a difference?
Be sure to "Like" our Facebook Page and follow us there throughout the week.
