This Sunday, May 11th, Rev. Alden Studebaker returns to Unity of Dayton.

Rev. Studebaker has been a spiritual seeker ever since his introduction to Unity as a member of the teenage group, the Youth of Unity, in Honolulu in 1972. His spiritual quest then led him to pursue a career in the ministry and he went onto receive a B.A. in religion and soon afterward entered the Unity Ministerial School at Unity Village and was ordained as a Unity minister in 1984. Since his ordination, Alden has served ministries in California, Texas, Washington, and from 1995-2005, as the minister of Garden Park Unity Church in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Since leaving pulpit ministry in 2005, Alden has presented talks and seminars around the country based on his best selling book, Wisdom for a Lifetime: How to Get the Bible Off the Shelf and into Your Hands, published by Unity Books. This book, is the primary textbook for metaphysical Bible study at the Unity Institute and New Thought/Unity churches across the world. Alden is also the author of the visionary novel, The Grid, published by Author House in 2002. Presently, he is working on various writing projects, and is a guest speaker at many Unity churches.

Alden, his wife Donna, and their three children live in Indiana, near Cincinnati.
